Birdieskin is a sun safety initiative dedicated to protecting golfers' skin in the Chicagoland area. By partnering with local golf courses, we are able to educate Chicago golfers about the importance of sun protection when they play. Oftentimes, golfers recognize the obvious dangers –deep bunkers, ponds, or even houses– but many fail to recognize the most dangerous obstacle: the sun. With its rays beaming over the course, golfers, according to US News and World Reports, have a "250% greater risk of developing skin cancer than non-players".

Our mission at Birdieskin is to create more acknowledgement about skin cancer awareness in golf, so golfers can focus more on their game, not their health.
